DeKalb, IL - Looking for Experience

DeKalb, IL - Electrical Engineering undergraduate looking for experience with recording and live sound (preferably live). Looking to work Fri-Sat-Sun. Running errands, cleaning, making coffee etc. in exchange for your knowledge. The extent of my experience with audio came from dating an audio engineer who worked for Technotrix in Bradley, IL. I watched him run monitors for taste of randolph in Chicago and helped mic a couple of drum kits. That's about it in experience though. Not a lot of experience, but I'm willing to do what it takes to learn. I learn quickly and I'm dedicated to becoming an audio engineer. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
