Does anyone know of a good place to watch the World Cup at the convention? Italy plays the US Saturday at 2. There might be something better going on at the conference, but it might be a good break. Any interest?

hey Eben,
look for Mark from BAE cuz he's into football/soccer also and is likely wondering the same thing; but he's good at finding a bar with the right channel. I'll be hanging out at the A-Designs booth and can tell you where he is.
I'm looking forward to it all!

Thanks Avedis. Is that Mark Loughman? That's funny, I bought my BAE 1272s from him--after seriously considering an A Designs Pacifica. I'll have to track him down.

I'll definitely stop by the A-Designs booth as well, I want to see the Pacifica in person.

the lime-green cardigan with the holes in it and the frayed cuff? dude that thing is a chick MAGNET!
Believe it or not, the last time I saw chocolatechickenpotpie this is exactly what he was wearing, lime green and blue cardigan. The man speaks from the heart.

No lie.

How else would I know it's a chick magnet?
The Edge... there is no honest way to explain it because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over.

World Cup Watchin'

I know of these place that are close and good for game watching:
Uno Chicago Grill
10180 N Oracle Rd
Tucson, AZ
Phone: (520) 878-0222

and

Famous Sam's
8058 N Oracle Rd
Tucson, AZ
Phone: (520) 531-9464
(they also have lots of pool tables)

Because of Honeywell up the road there are a fair amount of people working there from other parts of the world that are really in to The World Cup.
