| it's been almost a year since hurricane Katrina rolled through town. I was one of the lucky few who had a building to come home to. There have been lots of inconveniences and sadness in the past 11 months, including the loss of neighbors, neighborhoods, friends, jobs, favorite late night dining spots, bands that have simply relocated or broke up; TapeOpCon never came to town to stroll drunkenly through the French Quarter. But, one of my biggest regrets has been missing the last 5 issues of TapeOp, as no catalogs or magazines were being delivered. Not to mention that the mail was being delivered about as often as the garbage was being picked up. What a relief it was to see Tape Op #54 poking out of the top of my mailbox yesterday. So, how were issues #49 through #53? Did I miss anything? |
