looking for brooklyn rehearsal/recording space

we are a collecitve of highly responsible people who need a place to make a racket and record our racket. We can do some construction if nec. Currently, we are squeezed into a small room (134 sq feet) with lousy soundproofing for too much money. Sigh. being a musician in NYC is so much fun.
So, we're putting the word out there ...please contact squinchy@mindspring.com if you know of something, got something for rent, or any advice. Brooklyn is preferred but could also work with Queens.
