Powered rack for my Sphere EQs and two additional Sphere EQs (for a total of five).
Paiste Twenty 14" hi hats
Paiste Signature 17" fast crash
Paiste Formula 602 20" thin crash
Paiste Formula 602 20" paperthin (4 rivets)
Crown 202 power amp to replace my screwed-up Hafler (looking for Bryston 3B or 4B as long-term solution)
A couple new Yamaha cymbal stands
Still enjoying my relatively new (to me) GML 8900 limiter

How come nobody ever posts about gear they just got rid of? I just unloaded this crappy old premier drum set on InverseRoom....
too bad for him he wouldn't take the cat. Manx cats are reknowned for their unique acoustic properties.
On the other hand, I did just score an ART FX-1 at a church rummage sale. And a pair of Infinity 2000.1 speakers. _________________ "Avoid trends and clichés/don't try to be up to date/and when the sunlight hits the olive oil, don't hesitate"

Hey Andy, I know that's a 14" floor tom, but the cat still looks freaking enormous. Is he? _________________ New album out now! clicky |

Lately I've gone a little nuts on Ebay, at least for myself. In the last month I've gotten:
Symetrix 501 Comp/Limiter
Blue Mouse
Pork Pie Maple Snare Vented
In the mail:
Telefunken TD300 - it could be crappy, but for $50 I thought the risk was worth it.
By the way...the mouse, it seems to be pretty picky with stuff. I think it sounds amazing on room drums with a Pro VLA or the 501, but no so great on my vocals. Maybe I need to call my friend and ask him to lend me his tube Millennia M-2A. _________________ "I'd rather her sound artificial [auto tune] than sound completely drunk." Stubbs is a larger-than-life kinda cat, but physically speaking he's quite small. He does have a way of looming, though, for lack of a better word.
And, now he's a celebrity! _________________ "Avoid trends and clichés/don't try to be up to date/and when the sunlight hits the olive oil, don't hesitate"

A 1976 Norton Commando.
Another UA 2108 pre.
I'd like to say I bought a Valley Dynamite comp, but I'm still looking for one (black with white script lettering). _________________ I know enough to know that I don't know what I am doing.

Inverseroom -- nice kit! In keeping with the drum thing, I just purchased this today -- a bang around Tama kit for $150:
It definitely needs new heads. The front kick head is gone and even a couple of mounting brackets are gone, but for $150 I couldn't expect much more. Even came with a sabian high hat and beat up crash. Oh yeah, and it came with a throne too. _________________ "I would imagine that the inside of a bottle of cleaning fluid is fucking clean." -Hedberg

Yah, nice kits there DryCountry and weatherbox! I esp. like the maple hoops on weatherbox's kick there....I'm thinking about doing the same thing...

its pretty classy. It's an older USA made kit, and though small, packs a mean punch. I can't wait to record someone who can actually play them, because I'm awful. I had a bunch of snares and no kit to go with them...
I bet maple on that turquoise would be blindingly cool. What size is that kick? |

22. Yours looks smaller, eh?
