Anyone take note of which model Pearl mic was being used during the Minimal Drum Mic'ing Workshop?
Based on seeing it from a distance I'm guessing it was the CC22?
It sounded fantastic, nice and detailed... surgical without being sterile.
Anyone?
Thanks,

I remember Steve saying it was a tube model. Sorry that's all I got. _________________ Tony

Damn... I was hoping it wasn't the tube model. Those run about 3G's.
I'll keep holding my breath until I hear definitively.
I'm wondering if it was Schumacher's? or was it part of the loaner pile?

| According to my notes, it was the DT40. It sounded great, but I won't be picking up one of them any time soon... |

Thanks!
Once the price hits the $3000 mark there are other things I'd be choosing instead.

| I just listened back to a recording I made and it's only being referred to as "the Pearl". It looked like the DT40 to me. |

I contacted Wavelab and the Pearl mic used during that workshop was the DT40.
