Think good thoughts for Scott Harding

Yes, the benefit show (the first one of a couple) is at the highline:

We are all working to make life a littles easier for scotty when he finally, someday, gets out of the hospital. I am trying to stay positive. He is one of my best friends, and this is really tough.

Please support any way you can.

I prayed for him just this minute.

I hope he recovers quickly and that something good would arise from this tragedy.

The direct link to the ebay charity auction that will start soon for scotty.
MANY people are donating great stuff, so keep an eye on this one. Lots of good stuff, for a great cause: one of my best friends, and a great engineer/producer/musician.

Thank you for any support offered. Please visit the scotty hard trust site if you wish to simply donate some money to this cause. Anything will help. really.

Thank you!

There really will be some great stuff. I am about to post a custom compressor, which is two coustomized white finger comps racked up with transformer I/O that I used on tons of records, and we have two at the studio and i only ever use 1 of them. I am also going to be posting my much loved Glensound box. I havent been using it as much as I used to, and this is a good cause. The compressor in that thing is worth the price alone, IMHO.
Much more to come....

I wil be riding a vespa across the country in the scooter cannonball coming this september. I will be taking donations on a per-mile basis for the Scotty Hard trust.
Contact me if you are interested in putting your studio name on my scooter for this ride, or your name, or whatever. email me about pricing. (100% goes to charity)

http://www.scootercannonball.com

The ride is from SF,CA to delaware. over 3000 miles on a vespa scooter.

Should be an experience, to say the least. Any info on sponsorship would be greatly appreciated. BrooklynBretta http://www.brooklynbretta.com

has steppd up as a primary sponsor for this ride. If you are in the NYC area and ride scooters support them!!! tell them Joel sent you.
Check out the route I will be riding on the scooter cannonball site, and let me know if you live along the route and want to have lunch or something.

Keep an eye out for the blog that will track my progress across the country. I will post that here when the time comes!

scooter run

Post by supafuzz » Sun Apr 06, 2008 4:46 am

sounds like an amazing trip
on the scooter run site it looks like they're only going to kansas

Are you going past the finish line with a rag tag rogue group of scooterists?

Or are you heading to delaware on your own??

either way..it's a good thing

Thanks to all who have been donating!
Really an amazing response.
The donations list looks like a who's who of engineer and record industry people!!!

Thank you all very, very much. We still have a long way to go, though. so remember that any amount you can give is still a very positive thing!!!

Thanks again!

Sincerely,
-Joel
