Duende Mini...any users?

Post by Eric Rottmayer » Fri Apr 11, 2008 8:54 pm

It looks pretty cool but kinda a lot of scratch for what it actually does, or what
it's actually supposed to do, that is, sound like an SSL console.

Anyone using it and/or loving/hating it?

was kind of looking at this myself. I think I saw that for Pro Tools you have to buy the FxPansion VST wrapper separately (or does it come with its own?) which kind of bummed me out. Why not a native RTAS plug-in? they also now have a PCI-e card so you don't need the firewire port or external box. more dinero, but looks nice.

I've used Duende, sounds killer. I like it better than the Waves SSL. Only problem with the duende mini is that it only ships with the channel strip and not the bus compressor. $400 upgrade if you want that.
