Lately I've been working out of a new studio in Chicago called Wall To Wall Recording. It's a kick ass space with a world class Neve console and a mic collection that has more Neumanns then a German phone book. There's even a baby grand piano. Three pages of pictures may be viewed at www.grahamhick.com
Contact me if you're interested in getting a tour or talking about prices. My recording partner Lanny Oswalt and I have over 30 years experience between us in music and recording. Freelance engineers are very welcome.

Volunteer?
Hey,
Would you be willing to accept a volunteer around your studio? I can make coffee, run errands, whatever, all for the experience and to learn as much about audio as I can. As a musician (11 years) I have a variety of knowledge about music, I just don't have the tech experience- I learn fast though... Please, let me know. I'd love to work for a studio.

It's not my studio. It's owned by a friend. My partner and I just have a sweetheart deal on the freelance rate. Ill ask about interns and post back.
