Damn. I got to play a show opening for her two years ago. She was unbelievable. Her band was fantastic and she sounded great. Sad to hear that she's gone. A true talent to the end.

Her and Etta James are my mom's faves; I gotta cool mom.

I saw her some years ago atta college show, with like, Ministry, no shite.

She owned a restaurant near where I live for a few years; I never got the courage to enter it, tho'.
