Monobody -- math rock-ish from Chicago w/ two basses

Post by believe_in_steve » Wed Oct 22, 2014 11:47 am

Hello Everyone,

I posted awhile back about techniques for recording/mixing two basses, and while album recordings aren't ready to go, I wanted to share an in-studio video that we recorded recently. I engineered the session and our guitarist took on mixing duties. I hope you like it!

We are playing our first show tonight in Chicago, if anyone is interested.

Nice job! That came out very clear. If I was near Chicago I'd come check it out. :-)

As far as the mix on the video, I'd have liked to hear a slightly more aggressive low end, but that's a taste thing. It sounds like it was mixed by a guitarist. :-D (and I say that as a guitarist LOL)

Well done, I can't wait to hear more from you guys.
