Just got it today. Holy crap does this one look good! I also got word about who's in the next one. Man, Larry is just hitting home run after home run. You guys are gonna freak about the next one. For now, I'm SURE this one will do. Can't wait to dive in!

I just listened to the entire "Viva Voce" album "The Future Will Destroy You" and purchased it. It's a great mixed, engineered, and mastered album. Dig it's sound much better than "Lovers, Lead the Way! / The Heat Can Melt Your Brain" and "Rose City". Diggin' It!

I got mine the other day. Really appreciated the Dave Jerden interview; I was thinking about him a couple of weeks ago, wondering what he was up to (the Jane's Addiction albums have such a unique sound to them!), and lo and behold....

issue #86 is awesome (as all of them are), and i am totally digging playing with the demo version of presonus' studio one (2) that andy hong recommended checking out in his geeking with gear column. holy sh#*t! this thing is cool! instantly recognized my inputs, and tranzport controller. after about an hour with it i tracked a live drum kit, direct guitar, bass, a live bugle, and vocal track... sounds great! super intuitive to use, especially for those familiar with cubase and nuendo. thumbs up. i am definitely buying this one, and i gave tape op props in the presonus user survey. thanks as always for a fine magazine people.

Which was awesome. In fact, that whole issue rates up there with the John Frusicante / Ryan Hewitt / Ian Mackaye issue as one of my favorites.
