Hello everyone.
Please keep your eyes peeled for the following guitars. Like a lot of us, Mitch has been picking up great guitars along the way. The Fender XII has been his since he was a kid.
Please pass this list around to anyone you know.
1. G&L L-2000 bass, natural, 1980-1 version (Fender headstock) (USA)
2. Jerry Jones Longhorn Bass, aquaburst, ser. no. 046706 recent (USA)
3. Fender pink paisley Stratocaster, 2004 (Japan)
4. Fender rosewood- body Telecaster, rosewood fretboard, 2003 (Mexico)
5. Fender Electric XII, Olympic White w/tortoise pickguard, 1966 (USA)
6. Kay 6-string acoustic, 1962, rebuilt by Scott Baxendale, red sunburst (USA)
7. Guild S-60, black, 1979 (USA)
Thanks!

How does that even happen?
Was this on the road? Studio break-in? Guitar show?
Is there any insurance?

Break-in. I don't want to get into too many details about what happened, as that's not important at this point. What IS important is that the guitars were stolen in NC in the Winston Salem area. That doesn't mean that they're still there, though.
I might have pics of the Guild, the Tele, and the 12. I'll check.

Gotcha Chris. Don't mean to pry, or mess-up an investigation, and will definitely keep a sharp-eye/ear/nose to the scene...
But this kind of thing is of interest to me, and others I'm sure, not just out of compassion for Mitch (which of course there is), but as a studio owner, I'm always trying to think of the best way for this _not to happen._ We've got locks, alarms, and insurance, but still, it weighs heavy...

That's pretty fucked up and depressing. I saw an article somewhere saying that the thieves also took beer from the fridge, to which Mitch joked "for some sort of post robbery celebration." _________________ Tony

The beer theft makes it sound like kids ...
Best wishs to Mr. Easter that there be a speedy recovery of his stuff. _________________ vlayman; THD; blog; TFP |

Mitch is one of the nicest people I've had the pleasure to meet....no bodily harm done so we have that to be thankful for at least...
Hope they tun up.... _________________ Super 70 Studio.. where perfection is not an accident but we keep trying.
