Sometime within the past few years (yeah, I know, not very exact) TapeOp ran an interview about a guy who had a day job teaching at a college in Cleveland. This was a traditional college, not a recording school and he pretty much set up the deparment. Naturally, I can't find it.
I am interested in the guy's name, and the name of the school he was teaching at. Maybe Cuyahoga Community College.
I knew I should have kept that since it caught my eye when printed as I am reasonably local to Cleveland (1 hour away).
Thanks. |

Tommy Wiggins! Issue 68. Tri-C is correct. He's a great guy. Excellent program. I've "guested there" in fact. _________________ Larry Crane, Editor/Founder Tape Op Magazine

Thanks, I'm going to meet with Tommy next week.
I'm hoping to find some young(er) student who would like to partner with an old guy with a home studio. I figure having another person around would get me off my butt and start doing more stuff.
Good to hear confirmation that Tri-C does good stuff.

Greets
I'm an instructor in the RAT (recording arts and technology) program at Tri-C. It's a two year degree and is a very "hands on" program.
We cover everything from the gear in the studio, to maintenance, electronics, live sound, business and management and mastering. You can get a pretty well-rounded education. And at less than $100 per credit hour, it's quite the deal!
Oh, and I'm sorry I missed you when you were here Larry! I was sick. I would have loved to meet you. Maybe next time _________________ Guido |
