Mixing Needed!

Post by alexanderinouk » Mon Dec 19, 2011 2:36 pm

My name is Xander Duell. I just recorded 17 tracks at Sear Sound, produced by Andrew Wyatt of Miike Snow and Damon McMahon of Amen Dunes. On drums I got Sterling Campbell, who has played and recorded extensively with David Bowie, Cindy Lauper; he was in Duran Duran, the list goes on. On bass we got Hod David of Maxwell. So an awesome team.

I put out a solo record this year on Mexican Summer. I think this project has enormous potential -- but it just needs to be mixed! Please contact me here or at xanderduell@gmail.com if you might be up to the task. I'm looking for someone on the level and affordable. Please send links to tracks you've mixed.

Thanks and I hope to hear from you!
Xander Duell

Does email trump PM due to the formality factor? Or is a PM hipper and more relevant to today's youth. I'd like to hear how this turns out. I wonder if the kids are mixing albums on twitter these days.

If there were a physical address, I'd mail a hand-written letter, in calligraphy, on card stock!
