Although I was just a couple years too young to have watched The Monkees when they were on prime time, they were a few years later part of my Saturday morning routine. Had some of their records on 45 and ever since I got my Ipod their greatest hits have been on there. Goin Down has been a favorite of mine since I first heard it as a kid.
Of course I've had it in the ear before.....

I was raised on the reruns. I knew just how fast I had to walk home from school to catch it from the beginning.

Recently I produced some tracks for a Monkees compilation so this comes as a real shock. I really got back into the whole Monkees catalog from a new perspective and appreciation. R.I.P.
