FS: low budget mics - cheap! - DR LVX2

Post by digitaldrummer » Fri Feb 24, 2012 3:17 pm

Qty 2 - Digital Reference LVX2 (Guitar Center exclusives). I got these when I bought some other stuff so never used them but I did let a vocalist in one of my bands try one and it seemed pretty close to an SM58 after I rolled off a little low-end response. I also just tried them on kick & snare at a small club gig and they did surprisingly well. They feel pretty solid too (not cheap plastic toys). Each includes bag, clip and foam windscreen. I will take $35 each paypal/shipped or both for $65.

One MXL 603s (modded) - I did what is sometimes referred to to now as the "gus mod" -- basically replacing key capacitors with higher quality versions. It extends the low-end and smooths out the top - in other words they sound much better than stock. includes bag and foam pop screen.
