Upgrading Memory on a Lexicon JamMan

Lexicon wants $500 to toss a few chips or whatever in a JamMan rack unit to increase the amount of loop time, anyway around that? What should I be looking for? Can this be done by a newbie? Thanks guys!

Thanks for the link! They're asking $300, but that apparently includes some mods to some of the midi options as well. Isn't this just an option of upgrading some parts? How hard would something like this be?
