All the forums have declined in activity. I hardly think it's a direct result of losing OT. I miss OT, but I think there are plenty of other factors at play. In fact, there are a few forums I just don't go to any more because they're mostly about OT and less about music than they used to be.

I personally have fully mastered the art of recording and have nothing more to learn.

I used to be more active on TOMB. I still like visiting and reading, and the archives are a really great resource - I usually search for something here before gearslutz, though GS has lots of useful info, too.

Yeah, I search here at least once a week for something, too.

I've been posting less, afraid I'll let slip the real secret of the RSEQ.

Have to agree with everyone, I've learned a lot over the years. This place and the mag are awesome. Gotta say I do miss the off topic forum... Wasted many an hour there.

Well I got a job at a TV station.
I also kind of got more enthralled with synthesizers and bored with recording gear.

1-SportsNet Bay Area. We cover all the bay area teams from the A's to the Warriors. I'm the System Administrator. But I get to play with the video and audio gear too. We have an SSL in one of our studios.

2-Analog Synths with Din Sync and/or CV. Korg KPR77, Xoxbox, Roland RS09, Doepfer Dark Energy etc. Planning on buying or building a modular case soon.

unfortunately I dont drink, and we are live on air from 6am til 1130pm most days. Besides its a broadcast SSL, not a 4000 or 9000 or anything.

I think it only has a couple actual preamps. The rest of the inputs are coming from wireless lav units, line level, digital inputs, or one of our Summit pres.

Me, I got medicated for my ADD and suddenly lost the urge to distract myself at random intervals. Then Facebook came along and sucked the rest of the air out of the room...

You can totally count me in with the people who say thanks. I've seriously learned like half of what I know from youse guys, one way or another. *snif* :hearts:

Step right up. Take a trip in the wayback machine. Read of classic input from our ancestors, Witness ample use of sarcasm and profanity!
As it happened back in the mists of about awhile back.
