Mechanical Filter Mounting
Mechanical Filter Mounting
I've been experimenting with mechanical filters at the house and have more of a practical question about them. How do you mount them on a mic stand?
For example, I bought a 2' piece of PVC that a 57 sticks in perfectly and I want to be able to point it at a sound source. How do I get that sucker on a stand with the 57 inside with some stability??
Pictures of how you guys are doing it would be really helpful!
Thanks!
Chris

I usually set the PVC pipe on an amp stand, and then use a boom stand to position the mic inside. Never did anything more elaborate because the PVC rig was never a permanent setup.
