Okay, never thought I would say this but I want a multieffects box.
I used to have a Quadraverb or some other Alesis unit back in my SR days. I've also fiddled with SPX90's and their descendants.
I guess I am looking for a box with a big reverb for my synth wanking as well as some other fun effects that can be put before or after the verb.
A few years ago I got really into pre and post eq on my reverb sends, then I got into pre and post pitch shifting on my reverb sends.
Any reccomendations?
I have never used one but I am interested in the TC Electronics Fireworks, or maybe one of the newer Lexicon boxes? _________________

$500
I have a TC3000, and it has some wonderful verbs. I end up using the room presets more than anything else.
The 'Special' effects presets arent that wild, just some basic stuff. I have been using Echo Boy from Soundtoys more and more, but the TC3000 is always in some kind of use. _________________ "Writing good songs is hard. recording is easy. "

I would mostly be using whatever multieffects I get for my synth setup.
I have a ton of effects already on tap in my Logic rig (UAD2) or my Sonar rig (a nice obsolete TC Powercore!). _________________

ack, I went to the "New" GC on friday. They didnt really have any new reverb-multieffects (aside from Behringer). Did everyone quit using reverb?
I did find a Lexicon MPC450 (550?) or something. But the hair monkeys couldnt find a bit to engage the security bolts they racked it with.
I asked the hair monkey if it had a powere supply.
He thought it took an "IBC cable". I corrected him to IEC.
He said well whether it has an IEC or IBC cable we will find out.

I guess as long as it's not an IBD cable.
Anyways, keep an eye open for the Kurzweil rack FX boxes. Rumor, Mangler and KSP8. Rumor and Mangler are the same device with different presets.
Between LaserVerb and DegenRegen, I could waste hours. _________________ "What fer?"
