Some of the albums I mixed got into the Grammys!

Post by Nick Sevilla » Thu Aug 30, 2012 9:03 am

Hi,

I am proud to have mixed these three albums, and to have them been submitted for consideration?
to the 55th Grammys is amazing for all involved.

If you are part of that great community, I'd sure appreciate you taking some time to listen to?
these great albums of American music,?and consider them for their respective fields.
If not, go take a listen anyway, and if you like what you hear, please support them.
They are all available on iTunes, plus you can also buy direct from the artist's website as well.

Thanks for the congratulations.

Last year was crazy... nothing to do for six months of the year, and then suddenly things started coming together again.

These three records are good, so I am hoping the NARAS members take notice of them. All the artists on there poured their hearts and should into each song, and you can hear it their performances. I hope more and more artists make records like these, which are honest, no frills, and no overproduction. They are easier and more fun to create and leave them with a sense of fulfillment. Just like in the old days with no Pro Tools.

It was fun to watch the couple of labels scramble to get them out in time for the submission month (August). Like doggies chasing their tails. But, they did get it done, so there they go. Let's see what happens to them come October...

Cheers
