Introductory video tutorials on the subject of acoustics?

Post by James B » Wed Oct 17, 2012 4:39 pm

I feel like I've been burying my head in the sand for too long when it comes to acoustics. I have a vague understanding of things like standing waves, room modes, rt60 and all that but my knowledge is patchy at best.

I'm terrible at mathematics, when I see an equation my first instinct is to run. I feel like I might learn more from a video than more text, can anyone suggest anything?

We have a lot of information in our "Education" section of the site, as well as a dozen videos on everything from where to place bass traps, to how to measure your room response and more. You can check it all out at: http://www.gikacoustics.com/education.html

Let me know if you have any questions on the topics!

Thanks, I'll get stuck in them with both of them tomorrow.
