Studio Manager/Engineer Wanted - New York

I run a 24 track analog studio (marcata recording) in upper manhattan with my bandmates (the walkmen) and we tour frequently which makes running the studio a little difficult. So we are looking for someone to generally run things (book bands, do the engineering) while we are gone. There is plenty of time for sessions when we are in town as well, so the work could be fairly steady.

We are looking for someone with a fair amount of analog experience (who knows how to calibrate, etc.) and who shares a similar aesthetic sense. I put up an ad before for engineers to do sessions awhile ago but it was too difficult to organize when we kept leaving town. So we are looking for someone to return emails and calls, show people the space, and do the engineering.

Hey Matt,
I wish I could help you too... if only I lived in NYC. I saw your band live in Houston several months ago the first time you came through and thought you guys put on an amazingly good show. I don't know if you remember me, I approached you guys in the trailer and bothered you about recording. Well anyway, I really love the new album, the guitars on the song "The Rat" sound awesome. Great job! I look foward to seeing you live again!
