Ozone Advice

Post by Relyet » Sun Feb 01, 2015 5:33 am

Hello,

I am looking to purchase the ozone mastering software soon. I have read a lot online about both versions 5 and 6, and am trying to decide which to purchase.

I have read that some folks believe 6 is a bit of a downgrade, and also is much more CPU-hungry.

Is there anyone who has had experience with both and who can help steer me in the right direction?

Please keep in mind this will be my first time using mastering software, so if one is more user-friendly this the other, that is a bonus.

Thanks!

I'm pretty sure you can get a demo version off their website? Maybe even of both versions.

You might consider practicing some of the mastering techniques that people use, with some plugins that you already have. Don't get me wrong, I've heard (mostly) good things about Ozone, but you can accomplish similar (if not identical) things with other plugins.
