I might be flooring all or more likely part of a metal farm outbuilding to use for recording. From the information I've got, there's not a lot of price difference between pouring concrete, or framing up a floor.
Given that there are no neighbours, so insulation in an acoustic sense is not an issue, which would be better to go for soundwise, or any other reaons you guys can think of?
Or are there alternative flooring options I haven't thought of?

Given the choice between pouring a concrete slab and finishing it, and doing up a wood deck floor, I'd go concrete. It's hard to get enough mass on a floor assembly like that to keep it from resonating in the audible spectrum.
All else being equal, of course, which it never is.

Sounds reasonable, when I thought about it all my recording to date has been done on concrete floors, why change now.

The phrase "farm outbuilding" leads me to believe concrete bight be the best option purely for practical concerns.
I make a living as an electrician, not recording in the basement.
