Using a mobile HD rack tray in PCs.

Post by Fuquan » Wed Jun 04, 2003 6:19 am

I've been looking at components for putting together a recording PC (my first build). Has anyone ever used hard drives in mobile rack trays (like those made by Kingwin) for recording? It'd be great to just swap out my hard drive when it gets full, but I'm concerned that the slower transfer speed might effect the recording process somehow.

thanks,
Kevin

It's really common and a great way to go. Plus, then bands can buy their own media in digital recording, just like in analog. Woo-hoo!
