That's a fair thought. I feel like anything could be a plausible heart mic. I heard someone (Tchad Blake?) use a 441 as a heart mic. Sounded pretty good. I one time, in a pinch, used a m160 and thought it sounded great but the producer wanted to be able to sound replace the kick and snare so I had to spot mic. Live recording with technical problems, long story.
