First video from new album...

Post by kung_fu_elvis » Wed Jan 28, 2015 8:58 am

Good day all...
I've been plugging away at a new album, we're wrapping things up, so we pushed out a quick mix/video to youtube...

Most of the album we've been tracking 'live off the floor', this song however, the drummer and I were rehearsing, and felt the groove was there, so went for it with acoustic, vocal, and drums. Bass, electrics and harmonies added later.

Glyn Johns stereo approach on the drums, with AT-2020's.
A few barstools with blankets between him and I.
SM-7b on vocals, AKG C451 on acoustic.

Bass cab, I think we used a D-112, while guitar solo was SM-7b,
and a cascade fathead ribbon for the rhythm track and gang vocals at the end.

The video of myself and the drummer were from a previous take, but managed to get things to sync ok enough.

Thanks for checking it out, and any feedback/critiques are welcome...
