Dub-ish track we did...

We used a some samples and rips and things to make the backbeat; mixed that down to a stereo .wav. Via aux sends, we ran the stereo .wav out of my RME pre and into a '57 Gibson Echoplex (and then we ran another aux of it into itself to create that feedback loop); a '72 Roland Space Echo (same 2nd aux for loop also); and a Danelectro Spring Reverb (via an aux, but no loop).

Ran everything pre fader and then used the aux sends to get all the effects and slap backs and fizzy sounds.

This was the first time we had ever done anything like this. Recent inspiration has been Lee "Scratch" Perry; since we had access to the tape echo and what not, we thought we'd give it a shot for fun.

The whole thing was intended to be tounge-in-cheek. Any critique, comments or ideas for improvement or how to use the aux sends mo' better, let me know!
Thank you.
