Looking to collab_orland
Guitarist/Bassist/Recordist (55) looking for stable, talented and motivated musical collaborators for original guitar-based rock/funk/punk/alt.country songs, yers and mines.

I have equipment and attitude, songs and chops. I'm looking for others who want to start something, and can keep up.

Jam, recording, band?

NOT interested in being in a cover band.

You can hear what I'm currently doing here:

If you think you know me, I go by "mick". (N)

Looking to rehab_orland
Guitarist/Bassist/Recordist (55 and proud of it), about fed-up looking for stable, talented and motivated musical collaborators, almost ready to accept passive-aggressive dooshbags, addicts, liars and other head-cases, *if you can and actually want to play*.

Still gotta be about original guitar-based rock songs, and *yours hafta be decent.* If I think yours suck, I *will* tell you.

I have good equipment and lotsa attitude (no shite), many songs and fair chops and years of experience, and no little frustration with this entire process of phone calls, lies, poses, lame auditions, unprepared and barely equipped nonsense, and other wankery.

I'm looking for actual players who *want to play*, not just talk about it. And you gotta have transport, and working equipment that you can and want to and know how to use. I mean, a drummer with drums, a guitarist with a axe and usable amp - the little things that go into being for real, you know?

Jam, recording, band? Can you actually do these things? DO YOU WANT TO? :drill-sergeant voice off:

Probably should be within a half hour of 60462, unless yer Prince or sompin'.

NOT EVER interested in being in a cover band, EVER again, and 80's hair-metal fans - *any* metal fans - should immediately FO&D rather than try me.

You can hear, if mebbe not appreciate, what I'm currently doing here:
https://thehungrydrunx.bandcamp.com/
https://vlayman.bandcamp.com/

Do you agree that this takes more effort than plans and promises?

And a sense of fookin' humor?

If you think you know me, I go by "mick". (O)

Yeah I know what you mean...but I only have time for a band if there's a real rock star in it, one that's on tour or otherwise predisposed 9 months out of the year so I don't get stood up for practice 3 Saturday's a month like the clowns I meet u in craigslist.

Laughing

I'm about to buy yet another amp - a Fender Hot Rod DeVille - because the amp I bought last month (keep in mind, cheap) is too heavy but I really love it (Ampeg VT60 - total Boogienessossity, I'm a keep it for recording and mebbe shows, if ever I ...), and my 15 watters (Pro Jr., Tiny Terror) are too quiet, and my Marshall worth too much to take out and my MusicMan dedicated to bass recording.

And I ain't even got another band yet!

But yep, I s'pose I'm a rawk-star. Twisted Evil
