I'm reworking my racks for better workflow. But what makes sense out front creates a mess in back - not all manufacturers follow the same standard for which side to put the power supply and inlet. I've always heard best practice is to cross power and signal lines at right angles, if crossing them can't be avoided. But this is making for some funky dressing, not to mention a couple transfomers hanging outside their chassis that are uncomfortably close to mic or unbalanced lines.
Solutions? Am I over thinking?[/quote]
