HP-200 as guitar amp

Post by Drone » Wed Feb 17, 2016 10:02 am

Years ago, I read an article online about someone who fitted a jack to their HP-200 and used an audio line voltage transformer on the output to convert is to use as a guitar amp.

I bought the line transformer, one of those ones for 70V or 100V speaker line systems, and then forgot about it, and now I can't find the article.

Does anyone happen to have it bookmarked? For two reasons, firstlly I just want to use the HP-200 with a speaker as a sound generator in it's own right, without blowing the output, and also at some point I'll probably fit a jack and try it as an amp.

Ta, in advance.
The previous statement is from a guy who records his own, and other projects for fun. No money is made.
