allen and heath mixwizard knobs

Post by endertak » Tue Mar 15, 2016 5:41 pm

Hulloh,

I contacted a retail distributor to see if they had knobs for a mixwizard. They do, but they range from $2 to $12 PER KNOB.
This is a ridiculously high price, and because I need 46 knobs for a mixer update, I am surprised that they charge this much.

Does anyone know of another source for these?
An exemplar would be the following.

Thanks for any info!!

They look pretty generic, maybe here:

Another thought, Soundcraft give parts lists in their manuals, maybe you could go to source?
The previous statement is from a guy who records his own, and other projects for fun. No money is made.

this looks closest to me, but the outer shell is black by default, a minimum order of 1K is required, and i'm not sure they can match the color:

@drone: thanks for your reply. actually i did go to the source which was american music and sound, who then directed me to full compass because i needed to order these individually. baffles me that they can cost this much.

I assume you tried contacting A&H, their parts department?

yes, when you need individual knobs they require a referral to one of their distributors.
