I was streaming music on Spotify and did the following to use an EQ:
1. Set up an aggregate device consisting of Soundflower and my Focusrite interface.
2. Set the Focusrite as the master clock, and checked "drift" for Soundflower.
3. Used this aggregate as the output for Spotify.
4. Set up Pro Tools to use this aggregate.
5. Setup an audio track in Pro Tools with the input set to Soundflower with an EQ, and record enabled the track.
All worked as planned, although after a few minutes I would start getting clicks and pops, especially with dynamic changes in the music. I have my buffer size set to the highest value. Any ideas? Maybe there's an easier way to do this?
