It sounds great. It just had its capsule mounting foam professionally replaced, at a cost of nearly $100. If you aren't aware, the capsule inside these mics is surrounded by open-cell foam, which eventually deteriorates. It must be periodically (every 15-20 years) replaced. So this one is ready to work for a long time to come. (The tech commented that it sounds good as well.)
