don't know anything really.

I recognized it because they carried the brand at Main Drag Music and Rough Trade Records in Brooklyn - their stuff has a very distinct look with the wood buttons

Yeah, they were very cool and I remember wanting one. A little mini sampling/looping/manipulating machine. Some of the features you now get on a much more expensive Teenage Engineering OP-1.

Look on YouTube; there are sure to still be videos posted.

Is there something specific about the Kaleidoloop that makes it so desirable (for you)? It is cool, and cool-looking, but there are so many little sampling devices out there now (and even phone apps). What are you trying to do?

i really like tactile interfaces that do a few things really well. i also like the aesthetic of this brand with the wood buttons etc...

apps are never as fun to play with as knobs and buttons and therefore don't tend to get used much around my studio. same with virtual instruments...
