Soundways plugins

Post by youngm78 » Thu Jul 27, 2017 8:39 am

Hello --

Interested to hear opinions from people who have either tested or bought the Soundways plugin suite -- if you remember, these guys were profiled in the "behind the gear" section of Issue #119. There's a bit of chatter/griping on other boards about the price point. Interested to hear what the tape op readers have experienced particularity around value vs. $250 price point.

apologies up front if this is the wrong thread for this topic.

I tested it, excited after the positive Tape Op review...but I didn't feel like it was something I couldn't live without.

Looking at "other" forums opinions just now goes along exactly with my experience demoing it, but I never bothered to extensively test what frequencies you (assuming you are affiliated with SW?) chose as some users did.

The website sure reminded me that I have to keep mixing on my auratones, instead of trying a new plug in.

LOL.
Howling at the neighbors. Hoping they have more mic cables.
