Would an Allen & Heath running through a DIGI001 work?
I've got a dedicated space for recording that I think would work just fine for ya. Let me know.

Hey
I have a big drum room and extra tape around so you can go to 24 track analog first and then dump over to digital.

Scotty's place is great. He got a Neve from Laswell when I got the studer from laswell. Scotty brokered the deal. Scotty's partner, Tom is a great engineer as well.
Was out to dinner with Scott last night. He is back from Brazil (he was doing some arto lindsay stuff down there).
Harley, I could give you scotts number if you want. I dunno how cheap tom would do it, but they are really good.

Harley-
What place did you find? I'm looking for a PT studio for a similar situation and am curious about well priced rooms in NYC. What kind of PT rig is it?
Thanks, Matt

Re: looking for protools studio in nyc to record drums
This is NOT a recommendation (Studio G is the place and more than worth the dough, IMO) but there's someone on craigslist advertising 12/hr PT if you do your own engineering in Astoria.
Re: looking for protools studio in nyc to record drums
Hey everyone thanks for the tips.. I ended up at realm studio
Nice place great rates and Adam is easy to work with.
I wouldn't recommend it for an orchestra [it's a cozy place] but for almost everything else it works
Williamsburgh just over the bridge...
look for the link above..
