Re: Boutique amps

Mark, have you thought about using a Princeton, namely AA964 if you don't need the verb all that bad, but want that Tremelo or an AA1164 if you want the verb more and can add an external termelo (I reallyreallyreally like those 90's Dunlop tremelos)? You can usually get those at the same price on eB...

Re: Anybody Work On Anything Cool Tonight?

Man, I just got a rough mix of a song I'm working on for a man named !Jim-e Sparklepants! that goes a little something like this: "I love my armpits, I love my tougne, I love my belly button and my eyebrows and I love the earth of which I'm from, and we're sayin' "We love our armpits, We love our to...

Re: Part find for a SF Fender

The real key is making sure that the death ground switch is no longer connected; I have seen several amps with grounded plugs that still have the switch hooked up! bad idea! now why is that? excuse my lack of knowledge on the subject, but what exactly does it do? I was under the impression that it ...

Re: Deaf in One Ear's avatar

Actually, if I may, I'm calling a "post tax time," where anyone who has fewer than 50 posts has to pay each of the other people with more than 50 posts according to the following schedule: $=(number of posts below 50*ten million)(number of posts above 50*thirty billion trillion million) Make checks...

Re: To all the web page designers...

actually, I'm using Dreamweaver and I was wondering if there is a way to set as default the use of fixed ratio... or is that all done in html. or is it a moot point. or.... I wish I knew this-- it's my drummers copy and he's on vacation, yet somehow I got elected to do the site.. go figure.

Re: I am Rodney King

I think the insiderism is unavoidable to some extent, in part because someone's got to run the place, and in part because people who've been around for a long time (or a lot) are better known by other posters. There is a crew of people I enjoy reading and learning from. That's why I come back. That...

Re: I am Rodney King

man, are you guys really seeing scenester-ness that pits newcomers to older users? It's funny because I could swear there's a new "what's the best XXX for under XXX" thread that gets answered every week, very few getting one or no answers. I also don't see where all this secret hand-shake stuff that...

To all the web page designers...

I want to know what you all think is the default size that people view at... I'm building sites for both myself and my band right now and my drummer insists that I should shoot for 800x600, not 1024x768.

what do you think?

oh, and to frame or not to frame... that is the question....

thanks!

Re: Part find for a SF Fender

nononono... they are the same size! At least the screw spacing is, so I'm not afraid of the project. And, yes, I know what is intailed. I am only looking for the parts.
