Re: Would love to see a melvins article.

so 10 years later Tape Op finally does a few Melvins articles, supposedly for the 25th anniversary issue, and then screws them over by making the articles digital only?? Seriously?

Posted an image of this a couple of months ago when I ordered it, but my MakeNoise Shared System finally showed up last week: https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn1/603957_4230490201102_1125766029_n.jpg The flexibility of this system is amazing. Every module has multiple functions, an it plays ...

Koma Eleltronik effects units

Just received mine and wanted to share. These are in the same vein as the Moogerfoogers but weirder - If you are into creative destruction of your signal, check em out. I ordered the Filter/Sequencer and the Gate/Delay, and took the standalone dual IR sensor unit as well. Awesome noisy stuff - not f...

EHX superego How you diggin this? Out of EH's newest offerings, this was the one that struck me as being genuinely innovative and useful. I've been trying to figure out why this little thing is so quiet. I only have luck getting a good signal out of it if I run it through pedals or a DI first.

By the way, it sounds super fat running through a Sansamp Bass DI.

repairing a MIDI keyboard

I have one of these Edirol 50 key deals and a few of the keys have gone non-responsive. Keys don't stick -- they just don't send MIDI data.

Any tips on repairing one of these? I have yet to pop the case open on it to take a look.
