And for studio use it's in the same ballpark as "real" tape delays, so why bother. Now if someone came up with a $200 version, hacked into a Walkman, I'd be all over it.

i don't have an answer to your specific issue. That said. LEARN MIOmixer. Its dead simple, but modular (read:possibly confusing) as far as routing. take the time to grow thru their tutorials. http://mhsecure.com/metric_halo/support/tutorials.html MIO mixer is on their download page. and Google is yo...

are you using MIOmixer? you could lower levels thru its bussing architecture. also pre-requisite have you updated the firmware.... i run two MIO's with a Benchmark DAC1 hanging off the AES (i don't know if the Saffire offers such a digital option) and monitor thru the Benchmark, leaving the MIO's fo...

i recently had a hawaiian slide guitar's pickup-pzm combo latch ontu what i believe was an 8.5k tone emitting from the building's alarm system three rooms away... maddening.....it was slightly mitigated by lifting the guitar over his head...not fair.. count me curious.

Is there a technique (foam rubber under strings?) to remedy this? Or is it purely a touch issue with the player?
