Another vote for Audio Technica ATH-M50. So damn comfortable. They travel with me everywhere I go in my back pack. After, 2 years of shoving them into their case and into a back pack, they are still in great shape. Totally great at keeping plane noise out of your ears.

I'm making the switch from Cubase 4. So far, I like it. Sorry, Steinberg.

The only issues I have had are with some occasional crashes while using my Novation X-Station as a midi controller.

I am so glad that I no longer have to create zero start wav files for folks that don't have Cubase.
