Hey,
I know it's been a while but did you ever do this trade? Could be willing if it's still available.
Let me know,
Dave

My partner and I had many long discussions about this and here is how our rate increase and results went: We were a moderately equipped and large spaced commercial spot in suburban south jersey charging $25/hr....after about 2 years at that rate (our 6th year at that point) we decided it was time to...

Doing a live tracking session for a band called Windsor Park Walkers (http://www.myspace.com/windsorparkwalkers).
Live is a nice change from tracking seperately, solid players and we took some serious time on tones so I feel like its sounding good right off the floor.

Need to push preamp outputs to tape, need recomendation
Hey Everyone, I am trying to see what my options are for pushing the line-level outputs of my outboard preamps when I goto my Sony APR-24 2 inch deck. Basically here is the situation: We run a mostly DAW studio (http://gradwellhouse.com) and have recently aquired a tape machine so that clients that ...

Hey, don't take this the wrong way....I assume you know how to engage the phantom power on that thing? You need to have a condenser plugged in and then hold the switch to the right for a few seconds before the light turns red. Just figured I would mention it because it mystified me when I first got ...

I had a DA7 for years. Its an awesome board, very flexible and you can get it ultra cheap now. It does have card slots so you can decide what I/O functions it has. There are 3 slots, you can do Adat I/O, analog (8 channels per card i think) but that card was always very expensive. There were a bunch...

I have a D12 and D12e and they do sound different to me but not wildly. My D12 definately rattled as it got older and i opened it up and sure enough the element housing was all tore up. There is some rubber foamy stuff that connects it all together and it was all dried out. Because of that i bought ...

my APR-24 manual says 2db of over bias....ive seen charts online that say 3.5db and my sony tech tells me 3db. Booooooo! Right now i am using RMG911 over biased to 3.5 and am getting decent sounds with a touch or bias rocks. Initially i had overbiased to 2db like the manual says but it seemed a litt...

I know Emtec 911 is 456 equivalent...but is it also completely bias equivalent?
I am running a Sony APR-24 and just wanna make sure i should be overbiasing the 911 the same as the 456.
Thanks.
Steve
