Is it really ture that any info about 32 Bit floating point would apply across the board, or do different companies implement the 32 Bit floating point thing differently? Isn't there some difference in the way the software is written that makes Logic different from LE different from LIVE? I don't t...

Thus, any information you find out there about 32-bit float processing (i.e. just about every other DAW on the market) should apply to PT LE. You wo...

If you can get your hands on a PC or Parallels etc, you can download a free demo of Adobe Audition. They have a built-in plugin that can extract vocals out of a stereo mix really well.

Cool, I'll be there regardless. We can choose a place on the spot unless someone on the board knows they cannot make it to the meeting but wants to meet up afterwards.

Generally I try to go as low without choking as I can while recording. And I go with much higher settings during playback unless it takes too much time to start playback after I press the spacebar (i.e. the buffer is so big that it gets annoying). IMHO there isn't necessarily an "optimal" setting Ho...

I recall seeing a third-party ASIO wrapper which aggregated devices. I remember making a sticky note to try it out, but I think it got buried and I cannot find it. I believe Audition 2.0 will only let you use one ASIO device at a time. If I'm not mistaken you will find that this is the case with mos...

An example of a company to which I was referring is Manpower. There are others, but you can check out the job search on their website:
