I've been laying down sketches of tunes for a few years and am now ready to start recording in earnest, making a CD that will be professionally mastered and distributed. I'd like to do at least the raw tracking myself and quite possibly the mixing as well...

The behringer virual buttprobe doesn't give you the actual bleading and seeping, but you have to have like a really killer stereo to notice the difference.

Oh, now you guys are making me feel all shy.... :roll: It was just a one-time kind of....I dunno, one thing leading to another....well... We were on the couch together and he was explaining why my recordings made at home could never possibly have any artistic merit, and something about his condescen...

I was nervous the first time I called him too, but when we met he really put me at ease and gave me a great hand job and then I felt much more relaxed.
