I have a Rivera Pubster (2 6V6's @ 20 watts) that's pretty cool. Also an old Silvertone 1448 that came housed in the guitar case with a Silvertone (Danelectro) guitar. I took the amp and mounted it in a cabinet with a Jenson 10" speaker and put on a grounded plug. Perfect for rhythm tracks. Not sure...

But if it does happen that it's not r...

I posted this at another BBS a few days ago but it sums up the way I feel about it. I like tube amps best but I think the mojo is in miking a speaker, recording wise. A mic catching moving air. I have an AX2 (a POD with an amp under it into two 12's) and it records better than a POD lined in. The di...

I've had an HD24 for over two years and about two months ago I had the same problem. I replaced the drive and about a month ago it happened again on a different drive. The first time I lost a 12 hour seesion with a paying client which REALLY hurt. The second time I ran the scan disc utility (scan an...

I have a $10 L-103 myself. The tone wheel assembly is locked up. Get yourself a bottle of Hammond oil and start oiling the ALL the linkage and tone wheels, put some in the oil "gutter" that runs above the linkage assembly and oil the wicks the draw the oil on to the linkage. GENTLY work the ALL the ...
