I have a firewire drive I've been using for a few years now with no issues (maxtor). Last night I recorded a couple different sessions on the drive and this morning I can't open them form my external anymore. Pro tools says "this volume is for playback only." Just curious if you purchase the micro can you record into pro-tools using the mic built into the macbook? Or can you use the 1/8 inch input to record into pro-tools?

Well when Reaper comes out (full version) for OSX and the bugs seem to be minimal for a few months strong then I surely and gladly will shell out the nominal fee of 40 bucks to see if I can make pro-tool an insignificant other.
