Looking to rent studio space in NYC

My studio was flooded and I need a new space.

Ideally, it would be a control room with ties to a common/shared live room, but I could happily function in one smallish room.

Willing to consider various options, shares, etc. Manhattan preferred but open to other locations.

Thanks,

Ivan

Print the mix to tape and turn up the varispeed.

It's a classic, tried-and-true technique.

Digital sounds bad to me for this.

Studio Assistant wanted - Brooklyn, NY

Small boutique studio in Dumbo seeks assistant. The studio is owned and operated by two laid back producer/engineers. And when I say "laid back", I mean laid the fuck back. Duties will include assisting sessions, doing menial outputs, setups, and backups that we don't want to do ourselves, running e...

The U2 album that featured the Soundcraft and beta58 was Zooropa, IIRC. The kick, snare and vox were recorded through Neves.

Achtung was mostly Neve and the vocals were a 57.

Not that I'm any kind of authority, mind you. I've just spent way too much time reading up on U2.

Roger,

Is it possible we've met? I played with Marc Copely for about six seconds back in '02. Your name sounds familiar.

Get yer free drum samples here

Hi, Didn't know which forum to post this to, so if there is a more appropriate one I trust the moderator will move it accordingly. I've made drum samples in my studio - they're very "acoustic" or "live", meaning not very electronic sounding. They are free to anyone who wants them - feel free to use ...

It's a Toby Keith country type song. I'm meeting with them on Monday to discuss it.
