Some Big Bad B devices have been indispensable to me... Cable tester: http://www.amazon.com/Behringer-CT100-Cable-Tester/dp/B000CCIVCA Have a few 3, 4 of these things. Come in handy more often than not (certainly removes the mystery of hooking up an RNC into your rig): http://www.amazon.com/Behringe...

I've had good experience with them in the past. I've owned the everything EQ and compressor bundles for a while and I think they're pretty great. However, I bought the URS Phat C about 6, 7 months ago right when it came out for the introductory price. At the time, my rig was Windows-based. The compa...

FS/FT: Blue Sky Sub 8 Universal Active Subwoofer - NYC

Used this as my sub with Mackie HR624's for years, but I upgraded to Focal CMS 65's and don't need a sub any more. Perfect if you're making dance/electronic music or kick heavy jams. Perfect working order. Great cosmetic shape. Comes with original power cable and original box. It's heavy, you'll nee...

Nice review of the rack mount unit in the current issue; same feature set in the 500 module, just no transformers there. The rack unit is a stunning piece. I've got unit 004 and it has sat comfortably on my 2-bus ever since I got it. Roger Foote's customer relations/service are top-notch. The rack ...

I bought a Rolls Folcrom. I use the Great Rivers I already had and all the other outboard I had for a superb analogue mix chain with the convenience of recall and automation. The questions about summing vs. non-summing, ITB vs. OTB, what's the best plugin for x, what's the best D/A, what's the best ...

Focal CMS65's are KILLER. Assuming a well-treated room, they are extremely detailed across the spectrum even down low. I find them very easy to work on. They wrote my subwoofer out of the equation.

The thing that sucks most about this forum is how friggin slow it is. I'm on a wireless N router, on a mac, and it takes just a few mS to load... Maybe...nah, your computer wouldn't happen to be a PC, would it? It's probably cos I like to peruse the Megaboard instead of trying to keep track of all ...

By the way, one of the admins over at Gearslutz seems to have completed deleted (not just locked) the Massey thread over there: http://www.gearslutz.com/board/moan-zone/469034-trouble-massey-plugins.html And also Massey has taken down his posting on site . Again, though, I hear your concern that this could just turn into a mud-flinging match, and I respect it if you don't wish to participate. cheers, Leigh I will respectfully submit that it already has turned into a mud-flinging match. I've met Steven at a TapeOp Con, dealt with him separately on a c...

I think it's doing WAY more harm than good, however well-intentioned. Well, I can see the argument that it's not doing any good, as in, why would Nady give a shite what we think... But harm? Really? Yes, harm. Because when Mr. Nady gets indignant, unsolicited emails from people who aren't involved ...
